Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in North Carolina. This role is integral to ensuring efficient operations in the finance department, focusing on resolving discrepancies and maintaining excellent vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve invoice discrepancies to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.
  • Monitor the Accounts Payable helpdesk queue and ensure timely resolution of support requests.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure all vendor inquiries are handled professionally and promptly.
  • Process weekly check runs to maintain a smooth and timely payment cycle.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and enhance workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Experience in three years of accounts payable or a related financial role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage vendor relations.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve objectives.

Required Work Hours

The position requires availability from Monday to Friday, adhering to a standard first shift schedule.
